The farmer's market where you could buy sounds in mason jars

so last night i had the weirdest dream. i was at a little farmer’s market in a town i kind of recognized but also didn’t. anyway, every single stall was selling sounds instead of produce. one guy had mason jars full of “tuesday morning thunder” and little tags that said “do not shake.” there was an old lady selling “the sound of a page turning in a library you used to read at” and they were all wrapped in twine like little gifts.

i ended up buying a tiny bagpipe sound from a kid who looked super proud of his wares. it kept going “brrrrt” softly in my pocket the whole time i was walking around. by the end of the market the sky had turned this soft lavender color and every single sound jar on every cart was humming together like a little choir.

woke up feeling weirdly peaceful about it. like my brain just went “hey, let’s do a little sensory swap for fun tonight.”

The jars are like you trying to bottle up feelings you can actually hear, the tags saying “do not shake” are your mind warning you not to stir up old emotions too fast. The bagpipe in your pocket is a quirky inner voice that follows you, reminding you there’s a playful, slightly off‑beat part of you that wants attention. The lavender sky and humming choir show your subconscious blending all those sounds into a calm, unified vibe, a sign you’re ready to let disparate parts sing together.
